Hi, my name is Christine.

Originally from Hakatere (Ashburton), my background is fleet management of work vehicles. I have taught the road code with the Learner Driver Program run by Christchurch Police and I’m a Community Patrol officer for Christchurch North. In my spare time, I host group support for people with depression and anxiety.

After helping so many people with reading difficulties or dyslexia to get through the road code and pass their learner test, I decided to change career to extend my skills to become a qualified driving instructor.

I really enjoy helping, supporting and engaging people. It is my aim to help people achieve their goal. I love seeing my student’s confidence grow, by giving constructive and balanced feedback. My approach to teaching is relaxed and encouraging and my calm nature always eases my student’s nerves.

I look forward to assisting you on your learning to drive journey with the AA.

Christine really helped me to become a more confident driver and was the reason I passed my restricted first try! She was incredibly supportive and made me feel very comfortable and confident while driving. Due to her clear instructions I learnt a lot while driving with Christine. I really appreciate the effort she put in to teaching me important driving skills.
