For context, I had held my learner licence for 3 years and had never driven a car before seeing Satish, so he pretty much taught me everything I know. Satish was calm, patient, kind, and supportive throughout the entire process. Most importantly, though, he was always honest and realistic about what I was and wasn’t doing right. I have had my free lesson with Gilly which I found so valuable that I paid for a second lesson. Timaru has a high percentage of elderly population who never update their driving skills which is essential with so many rule alterations and increased traffic. I think the refresher course should be compulsory and continue to be free for 70 year plus drivers. As someone who has just passed their full license, I recommend Michelle to anyone. When I first took my restricted driving test, I went to Michelle to get 5 lessons. It was under her guidance and careful explanations, and I was able to pass on my first go.
