I have been learning driving with Sunny since earlier this year, Sunny is super helpful, and teaches really well, he pays attention to fine details and corrects any potentially bad driving manners, he plans for my course and considers individual situations (experience, personal goals, timeline in getting the license etc). I cannot recommend Daniel enough! I started off with never having driven in the city and I was extremely nervous and had no confidence. Daniel’s patience, reassurance and calmness made me feel completely at ease. Daniel always let me know what was happening and what to do to stay in control, if I ever fumbled or did something wrong, he never made me feel guilty and would reassure me and let me know what I can do to prevent it in the future. I booked 10 lessons with Parminder Mehra, and I am truly grateful for his teaching. He is extremely patient and detailed in every explanation. Since my English is not very good, he always spoke slowly and clearly so I could fully understand each step. When I doubted whether I could pass the test, he constantly encouraged me and never pushed me to book unnecessary lessons just to spend more money. He only suggested the test when he genuinely believed I was ready — and thanks to his guidance, I passed on my first attempt. Parminder not only teaches the skills needed for the driving test, but also explains how to apply them in real, everyday driving. Every time he sat beside me during a lesson, I felt very calm and safe. I highly recommend him. He is truly a responsible, caring, and professional instructor.

I have had the pleasure in engaging with Richard Norris as my driving instructor. I have driven with other instructors, but Richard is by far the best and my favourite. Richard is an incredibly patient and kind driving instructor. For example, he explains the road rules very well ensuring I understand what I need to know to be a safe and considerate driver. Even when I made errors, he never reprimanded me – he remained calm and gently explained what was required to address my mistakes to ensure I did not repeat them. Richard went over and beyond teaching me how to drive and to have a competent grasp of the road rules. For example, Richard was instrumental in guiding me to buy a car. He took time out to explain what to check prior to purchasing a car and the questions to ask the seller. Richard also explained what I need to regularly check to ensure my car is in tip top condition. I would highly recommend learning how to drive with Richard. Quite honestly, I do not think I would have passed and gained my full driver licence without Richard’s tutelage. He is an amazing instructor, highly professional and it has been an extremely positive experience driving and learning with him.

He was able to explain things very clearly and at no time did I feel that I would not achieve a pass in the full test. John also asked if he could come with me for my full test exam. As I am from Czech Republic and I found no language barrier in his clear and concise explanation, it was so relaxing for me. I got a lesson from very experienced instructor Philip, before my driver test and it was really helpful for me to pass the practical driver test within a short period. He was observing my driving very closely and gave me encouraging feedback whilst driving and summarised my driving for the day really nicely. He had good patience in his routine and never rushed with the lesson. He even gave me the option to contact him before the real test (if there is any requirement), which gave me the option to check anything from him even though my paid session was over. He was very friendly and professional at the same time in his approach and highly recommend him for a beginner or an experienced driver who wishes to get into the art of driving in NZ. Philip demonstrates the real essence of a quality New Zealander that I met on my journey in NZ.

I have been having driving lessons with sunny for over 6 months now. he is a very clear and well spoken instructor. when you don’t understand something, he can explain very well and carries a white board for visual learning. he creates patterns in your mind that help you to constantly remember everything you need to know to succeed in the first restricted test. I came to him when I knew nothing, not even what a pedal was, and now he has helped me to the point where I passed in the first attempt. he even pushes his students to drive for 50 minutes continuously during every lesson when it should only be 40 minutes. he is firm and strict when things get serious on the road but also nice and welcoming allowing you to be in a good environment. thankyou sunny for all your help!

Satish was a great driving instructor! He really helped me become a more confident driver by focusing on the areas I struggled with. He was always patient and easy to feel comfortable around. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone learning to drive!
