By using this website ("Service") you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service") with The New Zealand Automobile Association, inclusive of its subsidiaries ("AA Driving School - Driving Lessons").
Starter Session
- Available to all those on a learner licence only.
- You must bring your physical licence (not a digital or photocopied version), corrective eye wear (if required as a condition on your licence) and appropriate closed shoes to every lesson. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in a lesson cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
- Each Starter Session is an hour in duration; consisting of a Background Briefing, In Vehicle Skills Assessment and a Planning Debrief to set up the next steps.
- The Starter Session is limited to one per student. All further lessons are booked as Driving Lessons.
- The support person attending the lesson may contribute to the Briefing and Debrief, but for safety reasons may not provide input into the In Vehicle Skills Assessment.
- You may not have any other passengers (e.g. children or infants) in the car as they may distract you from driving.
- A Starter Session must be prepaid and booked online. Bookings are subject to availability.
- To be eligible for the discounted offer, the learner must hold a current AA Youth, Associate or Full membership.
- A valid AA Membership number is required at the time of booking the discounted Starter Session.
- All Member and Non-Member offers are subject to change and notice thereof will be provided online.
- Session is non-transferable.
- The AA Member discounted Starter Session does not form part of the maximum 10 discounted lesson offer and is booked separately.
- Your Starter Session will start and finish at an AA Centre or AA designated location.
- If you arrive within 10 minutes after your agreed booking time, the In Vehicle Skills Assessment will be shortened by an equivalent amount of time, at the Driving Instructor’s discretion.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your agreed booking time, it will result in a lesson cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
- Any cancellations or changes to your booking must be made online or in writing via your driving instructor at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of your session.
- If you cancel online more than 24 hours prior to the commencement of your session, you can rebook online without incurring a cancellation fee.
- Any cancellation or changes (to the chosen instructor, pick-up address, time or date) within 24 hours prior to the commencement of your lesson will incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee.
- If you fail to arrive for your booking it will result in a session cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee.
- The Starter Session will be conducted in the instructor’s dual control vehicle for safety reasons.
- All of our vehicles are fully insured and dual controlled for your safety.
- To be eligible for the AA Membership discounts, your valid AA Membership needs to be linked to your online profile prior to completing any purchase or making any bookings. Presentation of a proof of AA Membership after a paid purchase or booking will not be accepted to claim for retrospective AA Membership discounts.
- AA may share basic information like name, lesson schedule, booking status and post-lesson notes with the organisation paying on behalf of the student for driving lessons. This is for the sole purpose of keeping them updated. AA handles information in line with the latest regulations and policies, ensuring confidentiality and security.

Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase and lapse if not redeemed during the period of validity.
- We reserve the right to terminate the session if:
- You engage in any behaviour that your instructor determines is reckless; or
- You fail to comply with the instructions or directions of the instructor before/during a session; or
- Your instructor has assessed your driving skills/competence and deemed you to be unfit/unsafe to drive; or
- You show any signs of impairment that will impact your ability to drive safely.
If your session is terminated for any of the above reasons, you will incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee.
Driving Lessons
- Available to all those on a learner, restricted or full licence (Class 1).
- You must bring your physical licence (not a digital or photocopied version), corrective eye wear (if required as a condition on your licence) and appropriate closed shoes to every lesson. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in a lesson cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
- Each Driving Lesson is an hour in duration and tailored to your needs.
- The support person (Parent/Caregiver) has the option to attend the lesson but for safety reasons must not provide input into the practical driving lesson.
- You may not have any other passengers (e.g. children or infants) in the car as they may distract you from driving.
- All Driving Lessons must be prepaid and booked online. Bookings are subject to availability.
- To be eligible for the discounted offer, the learner must hold a current AA Youth, Associate or Full Membership.
- All Member and Non-Member offers are subject to change and notice thereof will be provided online.
- When joining as a new AA member, you need to allow a minimum of 24 business hours before booking any member discount lessons.
- Lessons are non-transferable.
- Driving Lessons can be conducted in the instructor’s dual control vehicle or your personal vehicle, if agreed upon with the instructor.
- All of our vehicles are fully insured and dual controlled for your safety.
- When using your personal vehicle, you must ensure that your vehicle has a valid registration, WOF, and be of a WOF standard at time of lesson, for example the brake light and indicators must operate. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a lesson cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
- When using your own vehicle for the lesson, the insurance is your own responsibility. Please check with your own insurer to ensure you have the correct cover.
- Your Driving Lesson will start and finish at your selected location, chosen when booking.
- The offer of 10 discounted lessons for AA Members can include any of these combinations: Driving Lessons, 5 Lesson Package, Practice Restricted Test & Practice Full Test. If taking more than 10 lessons they can be booked online, at the full fee.
- The discounted Starter Lesson does not form part of the maximum 10 discounted lesson offer and is booked separately.
- If you arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled booking time, the Driving Lesson will be shortened by that amount of time, at the Driving Instructor's discretion. E.g. If you arrive to your booking 5 minutes late, your booking will be shortened to 55 minutes long.
- If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your agreed booking time, it will result in a lesson cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
- Any cancellations or changes to your booking or instructor must be made online or in writing via your driving instructor at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of your lesson.
- If you cancel online more than 24 hours prior to the commencement of your lesson, you can re-book online without incurring a cancellation fee.
- Any cancellation or changes (to chosen instructor, time or date) within 24 hours prior to the commencement of your lesson will incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.

Our instructors are committed to following NZTA Waka Kotahi guidelines while conducting driving lessons and preparing students for their driving test. Instructors are not permitted to conduct lessons along the test routes to avoid students becoming proficient only on the specific route and then potentially being at risk when driving on different routes and when handling different driving conditions. It is a NZTA Waka Kotahi guideline that we do not teach the test route, AA Driving School teach safe driving skills with the goal of helping students to pass their practical driving tests and prepare them to drive safely in different driving conditions when tested.

- Utilizing account balance - While the lesson credit may be expired, the account balance can still be used to book a driving lesson. The cost of a new driving lesson booking will be based on the current pricing at the time of booking, not at the original price at the time of credit issuance. This would mean that you may have to pay the difference to book a lesson after the original credit expiry. If you have purchased with the membership discount, you would still need an active AA membership to take advantage of any member discount at the time of booking.
- Refund - You can request a refund at any time by clicking on Email Us | AA New Zealand and it will processed to the card used for the purchase.

If your lesson is terminated for any of the above reasons, you will incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
Practice Restricted Test
- Available to all those on a Learner Licence (Class 1).
- You must bring your physical licence (not a digital or photocopied version), corrective eye wear (if required as a condition on your licence) and appropriate closed shoes to the assessment. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in a booking cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
- Each Practice Restricted Test is an hour in duration and is based on the Restricted Licence Test requirements.
- Practice Restricted Tests must be prepaid and booked online. Bookings are subject to availability.
- To be eligible for the discounted offer, the learner must hold a current AA Youth, Associate or Full Membership.
- All Member and Non-Member offers are subject to change and notice thereof will be provided online.
- The Practice Restricted Test booking is non-transferrable.
- The Practice Restricted Test can be conducted in your personal vehicle or the instructor’s dual control vehicle, if agreed upon with the instructor.

- Available to all those on a Restricted Licence (Class 1).
- You must bring your physical licence (not a digital or photocopied version), corrective eye wear (if required as a condition on your licence) and appropriate closed shoes to the assessment. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in a booking cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.
- Each Practice Full Test is an hour in duration and is based on the Full Licence Test requirements.
- Practice Full Tests must be prepaid and booked online. Bookings are subject to availability.
- The Practice Full Test is eligible for an AA Member discount. The learner must hold a current AA Youth, Associate or Full Membership
- All Member and Non-Member offers are subject to change and notice thereof will be provided online.
- The Practice Full Test booking is non-transferrable.
- The Practice Full Test is conducted in your personal vehicle.
- You must ensure that your vehicle has a valid registration, WOF, and be of a WOF standard at time of lesson, for example the brake light and indicators must operate. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a lesson cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the lesson fee.

Senior Driver Coaching Session (65+)
- Available to all those aged 65 years old and over, on a Full Licence (Class 1).
- You must bring your valid licence, corrective eye wear (if required as a condition on your licence) and appropriate closed shoes to every session. Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in a session cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee.
- Each Coaching Session is an hour in duration and tailored to your needs.
- This session is not an on-road safety test or medical assessment. The session aims to up-skill and improve road safety through refresher sessions.
- Coaching Sessions must be prepaid and booked online. There is no limit to the number of bookings.
- To be eligible for the discounted offer, the Senior Driver must hold a current AA Associate or Full Membership.
- Bookings are subject to availability.
- All Member and Non-Member offers are subject to change and notice thereof will be provided online.
- Senior Driver Coaching Sessions are non-transferable.
- The Coaching Session will be conducted in your personal vehicle.
- You must ensure that your vehicle has a valid registration and WOF. Failing to meet this requirement will result in a booking cancellation and incur a cancellation fee.
- While using your own vehicle for the session, the insurance is your own responsibility.
- Your Coaching Sessions will start and finish at your selected location chosen when booking.
- If your Coaching Session commences within 10 minutes after your agreed booking time, the session will be shortened by an equivalent amount of time, at the Driving Instructor’s discretion. E.g. If you arrive to your booking 5 minutes late your booking will be shortened to 55 minutes long.
- If your Coaching Session cannot commence more than 10 minutes after your agreed booking time, it will result in a session cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee. You can re-book a session online, at the full fee.
- Any cancellations or changes to your booking or instructor must be made online or in writing via your driving instructor at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of your Coaching Session.
- If you cancel online more than 24 hours prior to the commencement of your session, you can re-book online without incurring a cancellation fee.
- Any cancellation or changes (to chosen instructor, pick-up address, time, date or due to the weather) within 24 hours prior to the commencement of your Coaching Session, will incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee.
- If you fail to arrive for your booking it will result in a session cancellation and incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee.
- To be eligible for the AA Membership discounts, your valid AA Membership needs to be linked to your online profile prior to completing any purchase or making any bookings. Presentation of a proof of AA Membership after a paid purchase or booking will not be accepted to claim for retrospective AA Membership discounts.

Senior Driver Coaching Session (74+) AA Member Benefit
- Available to all those aged 74 years old and over, on a Full Licence (Class 1).
- You must bring your valid licence, corrective eye wear (if required as a condition on your licence) and appropriate closed shoes to every lesson. Failing to meet any of these requirements will result in a session cancellation and incur a loss of the member benefit for 2 years.
- Each Coaching Session is an hour in duration and tailored to your needs.
- This session is not an on-road safety test or medical assessment. The session aims to up-skill and improve road safety through a refresher drive.
- Free Coaching Sessions for AA Members must be booked online and limited to one session every two years.
- All Coaching sessions must be booked online. Bookings are subject to availability.
- To be eligible for the Free Senior Driver Coaching Session, the Senior Driver must hold a current AA Associate or Full Membership
- All Member offers are subject to change and notice thereof will be provided online.
- Senior Driver Coaching Sessions are non-transferable.
- The Coaching Session will be conducted in your personal vehicle.
- You must ensure that your vehicle has a valid registration and WOF. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a booking cancellation.
- While using your personal vehicle for the lesson, insurance is your own responsibility.
- Your Coaching Sessions will start and finish at your selected location chosen when booking.
- If your Coaching Session commences within 10 minutes after your agreed booking time, the session will be shortened by an equivalent amount of time, at the Driving Instructor’s discretion. E.g. If you arrive to your booking 5 minutes late, your booking will be shortened to 55 minutes.
- If your Coaching Session commences more than 10 minutes after your agreed booking time, it will result in a session cancellation and loss of benefit for 2 years. You can rebook a session online, at the full fee.
- Any cancellations or changes to your booking or instructor must be made online or in writing via your driving instructor at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of your Coaching Session.
- If you cancel online more than 24 hours prior to the commencement of your lesson, you can rebook online without losing the benefit.
- Any cancellation or changes (to chosen instructor, pick-up address, time, date or due to the weather) within 24 hours prior to the commencement of your Coaching Session, you will incur a loss of the member benefit for 2 years. You can re-book a session online, at the full fee.
- You can book additional Coaching Sessions online, at the full fee.

Code of conduct
As a student participating in driving lessons with AA Driving Instructors, you are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct before and after each session:
- Respectful Behaviour: Students and Instructors are expected to always maintain professional and appropriate behaviour during the driving lesson and within all communication before and after each session. Treat your Driving Instructor, other road users, and pedestrians with respect and courtesy at all times.
- Listening and Following Instructions: Pay close attention to your instructor’s guidance and follow their instructions carefully. Your instructor is experienced and has your best interests in mind.
- Feedback and Communication: Communicate openly with your instructor about any concerns, difficulties, or questions you have regarding your lessons after the session.
- Zero-Tolerance Policy: AA Driving School has a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive behaviour or the use of inappropriate language towards driving instructors or external contractors and within all communication before and after each session or appears to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Any such instance of inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate action.
If a student is found to be using abusive language or engaging in disrespectful behaviour towards a Driving Instructor, the following consequences may apply:
- The instructor has the right to refuse commencing, or immediately withdraw during and after a lesson.
- The instructor may cancel any related bookings.
- The student may be suspended from further lessons with other Driving Instructor unless approved by AA Driving School.
- In extreme cases, the student's enrolment with AA Driving School may be terminated permanently.
Please note:
- Any cancellation or termination during a lesson, or within the cancellation period of 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee equal to the session fee.
AA Driving School aims to provide a safe and respectful learning environment for both students and Instructors. By adhering to these policies, we ensure that everyone can benefit from effective driving lessons without fear of abusive behaviour.
Terms and conditions for organisations and businessess (Driving Lesson Bookings only)
These terms and conditions (the Terms) govern access to and bookings made on our online booking platform (which can be found here) (the Platform) by any organisation or business (an Organisation) on behalf of their staff, and other individuals or end-users (each an Individual).
Our Platform enables an Organisation or an Individual to book driving tuition services (Driving Services) which will be provided by a third-party driving instructor who runs their own business (a Driving Instructor).
Any Driving Services booked through our Platform will be provided by a Driving Instructor under a separate contract between the Individual and the Driving Instructor. We simply enable bookings and receive payment via our Platform.
There are separate terms and conditions that govern the use of the Platform by an Individual and also govern the booking terms for Driving Services, including cancellations and refunds. If you are an Individual, please refer to those terms and conditions which are available here.
We may change these Terms from time to time by publishing modified terms on our website. If this happens, any changes will take effect straight away. Your continued use of our Platform after a change has been posted will be deemed to signify your acceptance of the modified terms.
1. These Terms
1.1. These Terms cover your use of the Platform, which enables you to (i) book Driving Services with Driving Instructors on behalf of an Individual (ii) make payments for those Driving Services on behalf of an Individual (iii) set up an Individual with their own profile or account on the Platform in order to enable them to book Driving Services for themself on the Platform and (iv) apply payment or credit to the profile or account of an Individual so that the Individual can use such payment or credit to book Driving Services for themself on the Platform (the Platform Services).
1.2. Our Privacy Policy, and our Website Terms are incorporated into these Terms and set out how we manage any data collected via our Platform and your use of the website upon which this Platform resides. Both our Privacy Policy and our Website Terms are subject to change from time to time in accordance with their terms. However, we will not use data collected from our Platform to communicate to Individuals about other product or services.
1.3. You acknowledge and agree that we may process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and that you are authorised to provide us with the personal data of any Individual on whose behalf you are using the Platform Services. You must make any Individual associated with your Organisation aware that you will need to share their personal information with us in order to book Driving Services on their behalf or to set up a profile or account for the Individual on the Platform, including their name, email address, phone number, home address, driving licence stage and previous driving experience. In addition, you must notify any such Individual that we may share their lesson schedule, booking status and post-lesson notes with you in order to keep you updated and for your own internal reporting purposes.
1.4. These Terms represent an agreement between your Organisation and AA Driver Training Limited. By using the Platform Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
2. Who we are and how to contact us
2.1. We are AA Driver Training Limited (trading as the AA Driving School) and our registered office is at Level 5, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, Auckland, 1010.

3. Platform Services
3.1. Any bookings for Driving Services made via our Platform will be governed by our Driving School - Terms and Conditions which can be found here. You must read and understand those terms and conditions as they govern various matters which may affect your ability to book Driving Services on behalf of an Individual, such as an Individual’s eligibility for lessons, special offers and discounts, changes to bookings, cancellations and refunds. We are not liable if you book Driving Services on behalf of an Individual and their lesson is cancelled without any refund in circumstances permitted by those terms and conditions, including, without limitation, because the Individual does not meet the eligibility criteria for the relevant lesson or they do not adhere to our code of conduct.
3.2. If any Platform Services are delayed by an event outside of our control or outside of the control of the AA group of companies, then we will contact you as soon as possible and take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this then we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a substantial delay then you may contact us to end our contract with you.
3.3. We may have to suspend the Platform Services to: (i) deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes; or (ii) update the Platform Services to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
4. Payment and lesson bookings
4.1. The “Fees” are the sum(s) which you agree to pre-pay for Driving Services on behalf of an Individual associated with your Organisation and which we collect on behalf of Driving Instructors. The Fees include GST and are calculated in New Zealand dollars (NZD) unless stated otherwise. The Fees will be shown on the booking page on our Platform when you book any Driving Services or will be included on any invoice addressed to you for the payment of Driving Services.
4.2. You may top up your account by pre-paying additional funds to purchase additional Driving Services. You may also request a refund of pre-paid amounts for Driving Services not yet provided, subject to any applicable late cancellation fees. Pre purchase lesson vouchers/packages are valid for 24 months, at which point they will automatically transfer to account credit (NZD) based on their original purchase value.
4.3. Unless we have agreed that we will apply credit to your account and invoice you separately for that credit (either in advance of applying that credit or after applying that credit), all payments for Driving Services must be made on the Platform via a third-party payment platform that may change from time to time. You confirm that the payment card you use belongs to your Organisation or that you have been specifically authorised to use it to purchase the Driving Services. Where we invoice you separately for any credit that we apply to your account you must pay that invoice by the due date set out in that invoice.
4.4. Where payment is made via a third-party payment platform, we do not collect, hold or process your payment details at any time throughout the booking and your payments will be subject to the terms and conditions of the third party payment platform.
4.5. We do not accept any responsibility for any payments made directly to Driving Instructors or any other third parties (whether for booking additional lessons or otherwise).
5. Your rights to terminate these Terms
5.1. If you are terminating these Terms for one of the following reasons then these Terms will end immediately, and we will refund you in full for any Driving Services which have been paid for but not yet provided. The reasons are: (i) we have told you about an upcoming change to the Platform Services or amended these Terms in a manner which you do not agree to; (ii) the supply of the Platform Services has been significantly delayed because of events outside our control; (iii) we have suspended supply of the Platform Services for technical reasons, or notify you that we are going to suspend them for technical reasons, in each case for a period of more than 30 days; or (iv) you have a legal right to end these Terms because of something we have done wrong.
6. Our rights to terminate these Terms
6.1. We may terminate these Terms at any time by writing to you if: (i) you do not make any payment to us when it is due and you still do not make payment within 7 days of us reminding you that payment is due; or (ii) you do not, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information that is necessary for us to provide the Platform Services; or (iii) if you or one of your Authorised Users otherwise breaches these Terms.
6.2. If we terminate these Terms in the situations set out in Paragraph 6.1 then we will refund any money you have pre-paid for lessons that have not been taken, but we may deduct or charge reasonable compensation for the net costs we will incur as a result of your breach of these Terms.
7. Limitation on transferability of lessons or pre-payments
7.1 You can only transfer lessons which have been purchased or pre-paid in one Individual’s name to another Individual if they are also associated with your Organisation.
8. Our responsiblity for loss and damage
8.1. We are not responsible for the following losses incurred by you (or anyone else using the Platform Services):
8.1.1. As we only provide the Platform Services, we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from any Driving Services provided by a Driving Instructor as this is performed under a separate contract between an Individual and a Driving instructor.
8.1.2. Losses caused by a delaying event outside our control. As long as we comply with the steps set out in Paragraph 3.2.
8.1.3. Losses which are avoidable. This includes losses caused by you or which you could have avoided by taking reasonable action (including by following our reasonable instructions relating to the Platform Services).
8.1.4. Consequential losses. This includes any loss of actual or anticipated income or profits, or any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, whether or not such loss or damage is foreseeable, foreseen or known and whether or not we had been advised of or were aware that such damages may be incurred.
9. Your account
9.1. On registering with our Platform, certain persons within your Organisation will be authorised by your Organisation to access and use the Platform on behalf of your Organisation (each an Authorised User). Each Authorised User will be issued with access credentials which must be used to access your Organisation’s account. Those access credentials are personal to that Authorised User and are not transferable under any circumstances. You must not authorise or permit any other person to use your account. You must ensure that each of your Authorised Users takes reasonable care to protect and keep confidential your access credentials and other account or identity information. You must notify us immediately of any apparent breach of security such as loss, theft, misuse or unauthorised disclosure or use of any access credentials. If any Authorised User leaves employment with you or their engagement with you ends, you must contact us to ensure their access credentials are terminated immediately. You will be responsible for any act or omission of any of your Authorised Users. Authorised User accounts will be set up with a 30 day timeout feature, as such, users logging in less frequently will need to contact AA Driver Training to get their access reinstated by emailing AADrivertraining@aa.co.nz
9.2. Your access credentials are the method used by us to identify you and are very important. You are responsible for all information posted on our Platform by anyone using any username and password associated with your Organisation and any payments due as a result of the use of the Platform Services or our Platform by anyone using any username and password associated with your Organisation.
9.3 You may not adapt or circumvent any systems in place in connection with our Platform.
10. Our responsibility for this Platform
10.1. We do not guarantee that our Platform will be uninterrupted or fault free, that defects will be corrected or that our Platform or that the service that makes them available are free from viruses, errors or anything else which may have a harmful effect on any technology. We may, without notice, suspend our Platform for repair, maintenance, improvement or for any other reason whatsoever.
11. Other important terms
11.1. We may transfer all or part of our rights or obligations under these Terms to someone else, provided that we will take reasonable steps to ensure that your rights under these Terms are not prejudiced. You may only transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms with our prior written consent.
11.2. These Terms are between you and us (being AA Driver Training Limited). None of the terms and conditions of these Terms are enforceable by anyone else other than you and us, provided that these Terms may be enforced by any member of the AA group of companies.
11.3. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed and the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms shall not be affected.
11.4. If these Terms end whether by expiry or termination then this will not affect our right to receive any money which you owe to us under it.
11.5. Our failure to enforce or rely on any of the terms and conditions of these Terms on a particular occasion or occasions will not prevent us from subsequently relying on or enforcing them.
11.6. The headings used in these Terms are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of their contents. Any words following the terms “including”, “in particular”, “for example” or any similar expression are illustrative and will not limit the sense of the words preceding those terms.
11.7. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand and you can only bring legal proceedings in respect of the Platform Services in the courts of New Zealand.
11.8. We may send all notices under these Terms by email to the most recent email address you have supplied to us.
Account Terms
This page contains the most current version of the Terms of Service.
- You agree that AA Driving School - Driving Lessons can send you booking reminders, relevant information and other marketing via phone, SMS and/or email. You can opt out of any marketing.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. AA Driving School - Driving Lessons cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
- By purchasing from AA Driving School - Driving Lessons, you agree not to initiate any credit card chargeback, or dispute any payment made for services, products, digital goods, PrePaids or gift cards purchased, except in cases of proven fraud or unauthorized transactions. All disputes must be resolved directly with AA Driving School - Driving Lessons.
- You must not post or submit false information to the Service.
- You must not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. You must not use this Service to violate any laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to copyright laws.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs from your account.
- Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted and will be removed.
- AA Driving School - Driving Lessons has the right to suspend or terminate your account, refuse any current or future use of the Service, or any other AA Driving School - Driving Lessons service, for any reason.
- Violation of any of the terms or general conditions may result in the termination of your Account.
- In the event that you breach these Terms of Service, or act in a way that puts the Service or any individual at risk, AA Driving School - Driving Lessons has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service, or any other AA Driving School - Driving Lessons service. Such termination of the Service will result in the deactivation of your Account.
Cancellation Rates
- Less than 24 hours notice before the booking will forfeit the full booking fee.
A cancellation does not automatically refund payment of products or services. Any amount not subject to the cancellation fee, is credited towards your account balance at AA Driving School - Driving Lessons.
Refund Policy
- Available to all those who have fully paid for a prepaid booking or lesson package.
- A refund can only be made for the value up to the original value of a transaction.
- Transactions paid by credit card will be refunded directly to the original credit card only.
- Payments made by a credit card cannot be refunded to a new (different) credit card.
- If the transaction cannot be refunded to the original credit card, a refund request will need to be submitted via the Customer Care Centre, by calling 0800 223 748.
- All manual refunds requests, will be made to a New Zealand bank account.
- Proof of the client bank account will be required for the manual refund request.
- Refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
- No refunds will be paid to a third party without the written consent of the original payer.
Modifications to Services and Prices
- AA Driving School - Driving Lessons reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
- Prices of all Services are subject to change with or without notice.
- AA Driving School - Driving Lessons shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.
PrePaids
- PrePaids are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Unused prepaids cannot be transferred between clients.
- PrePaids are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
Fees
- Credit card security is implemented using secure SSL encryption on all transactions and processed using a secure, trusted, PCI compliant payment gateway and used by AA Driving School - Driving Lessons for payment processing.
- All fees and transactions are in New Zealand Dollars.
General Conditions
- Your use of this website is at your sole risk. The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the website, use of the website, or access to the website without the express written permission by AA Driving School - Driving Lessons.
- Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of any AA Driving School - Driving Lessons customer, employee, member, instructor, officer or external contractor will result in immediate account termination.
- You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
- You understand that AA Driving School - Driving Lessons uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run.
- AA Driving School - Driving Lessons does not warrant that (i) the website will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the website will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, websites, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the website will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the website will be corrected.
- You expressly understand and agree that AA Driving School - Driving Lessons shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if AA Driving School - Driving Lessons has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the website; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the website; (iii) unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the website; (v) or any other matter relating to the website.
- The failure of AA Driving School - Driving Lessons to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of website shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
- You expressly understand and agree that AA Driving School - Driving Lessons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential loss, loss or corruption of data or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss resulting from the use or the inability to use the website or the Service.
