Hi, I’m Jacky.
Before becoming an AA Driving Instructor, I worked as a Health and Safety Advisor in the transport industry. I am also a former Lifeline telephone counsellor.
I’ve had a life-long ambition to become an instructor, so when the opportunity finally arose, I grabbed it with both hands! I really enjoy creating a friendly and encouraging learning environment where I can teach my students a lifetime of safe driving skills.
Although I enjoy teaching students at all different learning levels, taking a student from a zero-driving experience to a fully-qualified driver delivers enormous personal satisfaction. However, it’s not just about the student passing; it’s knowing that once they’ve passed their restricted or full test, I can sleep at night knowing they’re safe on the road. Safety for me, is always the bottom line.
Nervous students will often thank me for giving them the confidence that they need to learn to drive a manual vehicle – I find that incredibly rewarding.
