Hi there, my name is Joe.
Originally from China, I began driving in Wellington in early 2000. I’ve driven cars, vans and buses, and I've been to almost every corner of this lovely city!
After spending many hours over the last three years coaching friends and members of the community obtain their driving licenses, I decided to make a career change and become an AA Driving Instructor.
To me, I believe that driving should be a natural skill - no different to eating, drinking, or walking. My lessons prioritize safety (which is the most important aspect), taught in a calm and encouraging manner; whilst also ensuring the vehicle is driven in the most fuel efficient way.
I like to see my student’s confidence grow with each lesson leading up to their driving test and I love to see their smiles when they tell me they’ve obtained their license and also their independence.
