Hi, I’m Kathy.
Helping people grow in confidence has always been at the heart of what I do. After teaching two of my own children to drive, I discovered a genuine passion for driver education and knew this was the path for me.
I’m proud to be part of the AA network, whose strong reputation and values align closely with my own. I also appreciate the flexibility it offers, allowing me to give my students my full focus and energy.
I was honoured to be awarded the AA New Zealand Runner Up Instructor of the Year for 2025, a recognition that reflects my commitment to my students and the care I put into every lesson.
I am able to quickly identify what each student needs and adapt my approach accordingly. From the moment you hop into the car, my priority is that you feel calm, supported, and understood. I create a relaxed learning environment where confidence can grow naturally, at your pace.
Calm, patient, and friendly by nature, I’m able to tailor my teaching style to suit a wide range of learning styles. My goal is to empower students to become safe, courteous, and competent drivers — not just to pass a test, but for life.
