Hi, I’m Lloyd.
I have been a Driving Instructor with AA Driving School since 1992. I'd previously been in cold motor workshops and decided a change was necessary.
A very nervous customer described me as "the chamomile tea of driving instructors" - very calming and relaxing. She was previously used to getting scolded for any mistake from a previous instructor so I was a pleasant change. She felt supported and safe with my guidance.
I particularly enjoy helping customers who need to overcome previous bad learning experiences or personal fears about driving. The incremental change in their confidence is very satisfying. I enjoy the one-on-one type of environment working with people and the variety of personalities involved.
I enjoy being a driving instructor - being out and about all day and the variety of customers is very satisfying for me.
