Hi there, my name is Owen.


Originally from Hong Kong, I have over 15 years of experience in electronic technology, where I communicated with clients from different backgrounds to understand their project requirements.

I've always enjoyed working with people and exercising my passion in helping others achieve their goals.  With more than 25 years of driving experience, I have expertise in driving both left-hand-drive (LHD) and right-hand-drive (RHD) vehicles due to my past work driving between Hong Kong and China, which helped me to understand the challenges associated with LHD and RHD driving.

I enjoy helping students to become safe drivers and gain their independence as a result. Watching their confidence grow is always a highlight and having fun in the lessons lowers their stress levels and puts them at ease.

Being a driving instructor is my dream career, because I’m passionate about driver safety and have a strong desire to share my driving techniques, knowledge and experiences with others.

Owen is amazing, he not only teaches you what you will need to know for the tests, but he will go above and beyond to ensure that you become a safer and better driver. He is patient and calm, always taking the time to visually show you what you could expect to see and how you should apply each theory. He uses a whiteboard and toy cars to show you where your car should be positioned relative to the road and other drivers, making it way easier to apply when you are put in that situation. Owen communicates clearly and constructively, pointing out the areas where you could improve on without adding any additional stress. He brings your attention to the small things that you wouldn’t normally think of when starting to drive, like when to cancel your indicator or where to position your car in different places. Owen also focuses on improving your awareness of what’s around you at any moment. Ensuring that you are doing regular mirror checks and what the distance between yourself and the cars around you are. He helps you to understand how many different testing instructors will grade you and what they look out for, ensuring that you are not only achieving, but exceeding in every aspect. Overall I’d 110% recommend Owen to anyone looking for driving lessons, he will be greatly beneficial to you in your driving journey.
