Hi there, my name is Sharell.

I have lived in Auckland my whole life, and before working for the AA I handled training and upskilling for a large company. After this, I decided to become a driving instructor and have been doing this for over 3 years now.

When teaching students to learn how to drive, I aim to create a supportive environment with clear and positive communication, so that my students feel encouraged and understood. 

I thrive on helping people achieve a goal. I have a calm and supportive training style that supports anxious clients. Being a people person makes me a great listener, so my students feel relaxed during their lessons. I’m a good teacher and I genuinely enjoy seeing people grow and become more confident within themselves.

Sharell was an amazing driving instructor for when I was a learner, pushing me towards my restricted drivers license. She was patient, kind and very understanding when it came to my mistakes and how I handled the car at all times. I loved that she was always so positive throughout our lessons and left me with feedback at the end so I could took it away and put it in practice.
