Even though I have a full driver license, I wasn’t confident enough to drive on the road. So I decided to take driving lessons during holidays and chose AA driving school which provided a vehicle that had a brake and accelerator control on the passenger seat. Mr Khan is a fantastic driving instructor based in Manukau. I had previously failed my restricted test in Highbrook and I had to rebook in Manukau. I live in Auckland CBD, but had to book my restricted test in Manukau due to the lack of availability. I PASSED my restricted test in Manukau on my first try; this was 100% thanks to my driving lessons with Ayaaz. My parents agree with this. Although I had been mentored by my parents throughout my learner driving journey, I was lacking the ‘tips and tricks’ necessary to pass the systematic restricted test. From what I have heard, getting your restricted back in their day was much simpler and ‘natural’, therefore having guidance from someone who knew the ropes of the modern test was incredibly beneficial. To be honest - I wasn’t confident in my abilities to pass the restricted test, however, after completing a few of Ayaaz’s lessons, I felt hopeful. Ayaaz helped me to become confident in embodying an exemplary restricted driver. He is a wise, supportive, witty, and overall down-to-earth guy. I couldn’t recommend his lessons enough. :)

Great Instructor! He will crack up jokes with you to make you calm and relaxed but also the type of instructor that will keep it 100% with you. Tells you where you did wrong and asks you to practice it at home. He also recommended that I do my last lesson just before my test (same day!). I had a couple of lessons with Ayaaz before sitting my restricted test and those lessons were very helpful in building the essential skills that I needed for passing the test. Ayaaz is very accommodating to his students' and does his best to make sure they are able to pass their practical driving test. I had a practice restricted test with him which was quite an accurate representation of the actual test and what the tester would be looking out for. Additionally, he is friendly and patient with students, which was integral in building my confidence before the practical test.
