This is my story. About 30 years ago, during my third driving lesson, I had an accident. The biggest impact was psychological. I tried many times to learn how to drive in different countries across Europe, but I always faced the same problem—I panicked all the time. When I started lessons with Dave, he explained the safety reasons behind driving rules. He gave me many simple, easy-to-remember tips that I still use when driving. Most importantly, Dave restored my confidence in my ability to drive safely. I thought that passing my test in my 50s would be difficult, but Dave told me that my age was actually an advantage. His words changed my attitude toward myself as a driver. I began to believe that I could pass my driving test. Well, I did it—I passed my full-license driving test! And if I succeeded, it was thanks to Dave. Thank you so much, Dave, for all your help and for making me believe that I can drive and enjoy driving safely.

Looking forward to my next lessons with Dave. I have been driving frequently with my Mum but feel that I am more confident after having a lesson with Dave. I have booked 7 new lessons up until April so am looking forward to a weekly drive to further my driving skills. Dave is an excellent teacher.

I highly recommend Dave, a very experienced and professional driving coach/mentor. I passed my full license test the day after my 1hr driving lessons with Dave. A big big credits and thanks to Dave and AA. I am very thankful I booked a lesson with AA right before my driving test. All I need to know and all of my questions, Dave explained wonderfully and in details.

Patient, energetic and kind man who can really pack a lot of useful information and tips into the 1 hour lesson. I would highly recommend this instructor for everyone who is considering taking their restricted test as there were a lot of little obstacles and tricky spots throughout Tauranga that would easily cause me to fail a restricted license test had Dave not taught me how to avoid tripping over them. I am still yet to sit a restricted license test however i feel far more confident about it after doing a practice with Dave.
