Respectful and calm teacher, made the lesson feel safe and made it easy to learn new skills
It was great! I was thinking all sorts of worst case scenario before the lesson. But as soon as he introduced himself, I immediately knew that actually it might not be that bad. In fact it was rather enjoyable and the time went by so quickly! Harry teaches with constructive advice and he's such a chill guy, loved it, thank you.

Harry was a wonderful instructor to learn and practice for my restricted with. He is very calm and supportive and I enjoyed my lessons with him.
Coming into my practice test I was very nervous, however Harry was very reassuring and supportive which is exactly what I needed. Originally I was going to go straight to the restricted test without a lesson however, booking a lesson with Harry first was a great decision as he pointed out things that were essential to know for my test. Using the feedback Harry gave I was able to pass first go. I would highly recommend Harry!
Harry told me what I needed to hear about the restricted test.
I drove across a railway crossing without checking for trains in one of our lessons. "If this were the exam," he said after we passed it " you would have just failed." I don't think anyone had ever explained the road rules so clearly to me before.
He also gave me some miscellaneous tips. I now know that some trucks have a braking system that automatically activates whenever the others fail. Isn't that neat? I remember it every time I get close to a truck now.
I'd recommend Harry to anyone looking for a relaxed instructor to help them get their restricted.
I booked a practice test with Harry and it was a decision I won't regret making. He pointed out a lot of the mistakes I'm making that would be a significant factor in my upcoming full licence test. He gave lots of tips that would become useful as I gain experience driving in New Zealand. I am now a little more confident in passing my test thanks to him.
