Great instructor! I'd done a bunch of driving with my mum before taking a couple lessons and Raj has helped me a lot with fine tuning what I need to work on before taking my restricted test, giving me step by step instructions for maneuvers that really help my ADHD brain figure out what I'm doing wrong and what I'm doing right. He's really given me a boost to my confidence behind the wheel and I'm well on my way to taking my test as a result. Fully recommend!

Raj is an excellent teacher. He has very good qualities such as; patience, calmness, and friendliness. It was a pleasure taking lessons with him and he taught me not only how to drive safely on the road, but he made me more confident and comfortable in driving. He never yelled or snapped if I'd make a mistake, instead he'd just calmly tell me what I should've done and how to improve next time. He pushed me out of my comfort zone. I also loved the way how at the start of each lesson, he'd go over what we'll practice and at the end of each lesson, he'd give advice and feedback for improvement for next time. Raj was an amazing instructor! He made sure I was comfortable with the car I was in and he developed my confidence in driving through talking to me and encouraging me. He made sure I understood what I was going to be doing through visual and verbal representations of the manoeuvres beforehand. He broke down each step of what we would be doing teaching each individual step separately then once I was able to do each step he put them all together and guided me through when physically doing it so I could get a feel for it myself. He was easy to talk to and a great instructor 100% would recommend and hope to be working with him in the future.

I’ve had Raj for 3 Lessons and already he has been able to show that he has patience and understanding as he allows me to learn at my own pace and understands that he shouldn’t be putting me in a pressured or rushed environment. He also is able to give very clear communication skills that makes him a even better instructor with the use of images and diagrams that he is able to draw up himself, even just after the first lesson for me he was able to show me within the first 30 minutes that he is very compassionate about his job and clearly loves helping people become a more confident driver. I’ve been a learner driver with Raj for a month now. I can definitely say from my experience that I’ve learnt a lot more about driving safely on the roads in general and highways in particular. There hasn’t been a time where I have ever felt unsafe when I am driving with Raj. His procedures whilst I’m taking off on the main road or even driving in a quiet street is very precise to follow. He helped me in building up my driving skills with each lesson and each process, whether leaving the curb or doing a reverse parallel park, he was very clear with the instructions and made sure it will stick with me every time I go driving by repeating the steps each time I do them. without doubt it’s 10/10.
P.s. if you hold a conversion licence and looking to get some refresher practice keeping in mind NZ road rules and roundabouts, then he is your best bet.
