I had a lesson with another instructor before, but I didn’t gain much from it. After that, I chose to go with Rina without a second thought—and I’m so glad I did! From the very first lesson, I learned a lot. I was quite nervous at the beginning, but Rina made everything feel so easy and stress-free. She created a calm and enjoyable learning environment, which really helped build my confidence. I only did two lessons with her before my full licence test—and I passed! I’m truly grateful to have had Rina as my instructor. Would I recommend her to friends and family? 100% yes!

I started driving from scratch with Rina Capila. She taught me from the very basic fundamentals from theory to gradual hands on to assess, signal, maneuver, speed control, braking, etc. Rina gives detailed instructions. She communicated professionally. After six sessions, though constant practice and repetition is a must, I can drive now. Rina is great, I personally recommend her to be part of your driving experience.

Have done 10 lessons with Rina, she was very kind and patient with me, which helped me a lot as an anxious driver who had no confidence and was scared of driving. Her instructions on how to parallel park were so easy to remember and she has helped me so much with my driving skills. i had almost given up learning how to drive before i took these lessons. I have learnt a lot from her and will do more lessons with her in the future. I highly recommend Rina to everyone.

Rina Capila was amazing. She very nicely told us all the things my son needed to do and improve on to pass his test. She was calm, confident and gave lots of constructive feedback and reminders to do all the things that would make him a safer driver.

I was always anxious and nervous about driving and the thought of passing the restricted test seemed impossible to me. But after 5 lessons with Rina, I went from always being nervous about driving to super confident and feeling like I knew the road rules like the back of my hand and felt more then ready for the restricted test and I passed on my first try. Highly recommend, take a few lessons with Rina and you'll be ready for anything the test throws at you!

When I met Rina, it was the very moment that I took a leaf of faith and begin to trust the process of learning. At first, I was too skeptical because I’m uncertain if she would be patient enough and nice to me given the fact that I had zero knowledge in driving. But all the uncertainties were gone the moment we start the lesson. She made me feel comfortable and with ease that everything would be okay and right then and there I decided to take more lessons with her, and with every lesson my journey of life changing learning begins and she made sure that learning isn’t always fearful but fun too. Rina’s approachable personality, professionalism, patience, passion, precise knowledge and pristine demonstration of skills acquires me to develop such confidence in driving and overcome my fear and doubt on myself. As an example; at the uncontrolled intersection and roundabout through her teaching I had learned to choose the safest gap to take without any fear or second thought and to fully understand the give way rule or the always give way to the right. Another example is, she was able to explained the concept and taught me the significance of doing the shoulder check by demonstrating what and where the blind spot is, she went out of the car stand behind where I can’t see her by merely looking at the side mirrors and that’s the time, I needed to turn my head to see my blind spot.

Rina as I call her is a very patient driving instructor. She was able to explain driving concepts and NZ road code in a more practical way that I could understand it. As an example, she went out of the car to explain why shoulder checks are important just to compare using side mirrors vs using shoulder checks. With constant reminders and consistent feedback, I was able to pass my restricted test. Aside from teaching me how to drive, she was able to add some fun to our sessions; there was never a dull moment. LOL! There is a good sense of achievement to knowing close to zero to now driving independently. Ate Rina helped to empower myself that I (and all her students) can do it. I highly recommend her.

Rina is very good at her job and is very calm and reassuring to new drivers. We had tried another company and this was not the case there. Thank goodness we have Rina a try. My driver instructor was Rina. I would greatly recommend her , not only is she an excellent instructor, but a kind hearted and loveable person. She worked incredibly well to melt away all my fears about driving and I cannot thank her enough. It was an absolute please to have been taught by her.she had great communication skills with me, A lot of patience with me and was very professional but in a calming way so I don’t get scared while driving. best instructor ever !
