I couldn't recommend my Sam Mudaliar enough! I passed my restricted test first try, and I genuinely don't think I could have done it without his help. He explained everything so clearly and always stayed calm and patient, which made me feel much more confident behind the wheel. Even when I made mistakes, he never made me feel stressed or judged, he'd simply explain what I needed to do differently in a way that was easy to understand. Every lesson was really encouraging, and I always left feeling like I'd improved. If you're looking for an instructor who's knowledgeable, supportive, and helps build your confidence, I would 100% recommend him.

I booked only 2 driving lessons with Sam, and he helped me pass my restricted license test within 24 hours after my driving lesson with him. I highly recommend booking with Sam if you are feeling anxious or nervous to sit your test. I highly recommend Sam. I started my first lesson with no driving experience and after a few lessons with Sam, I was able to pass my license test on first try with no errors. Sam was very patient and friendly when coaching which helped build my confidence; His instructions and feedback were always communicated clearly and in detail which allowed me to improve after each lesson.

Sam cancelled Cameron practice restricted test, due to issues with his car. He cancelled with only 25 minutes notice which was very disappointing since we were already driving from central Auckland to Manukau in rush hour traffic.

He was so kind and encouraging. He built up my confidence and kept talking to me, encouraged good behaviours & talked through things to work on. Saw when I was getting nervous and talked me though, anxiety was gone after 10 minutes.

The drive with Sam made a world of difference from the first lesson. The previous lesson felt like just a defensive driving test - very tense, no talking, just instructions about directions, while Sam gave me a lot of suggestions about improving my driving and how to become a safer driver. After the first drive I felt a little deflated and uncertain about my driving, while after the drive with Sam I felt more confident and sure of himself on the road. Sam is a very experienced and skilled instructor.

We really liked Sam as a driving instructor. He gave my son the confidence needed to get his full license which he did right away. I recommend taking an AA practice exam before the real one, to fix any small driving problems. Failing the exams makes kids lose confidence in themselves.

Sam is a fun and friendly instructor. He always calm me down and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone in order to be a responsible driver. I like that he explains the reason for every actions; makes it easier for me to understand and remember instead of memorising them blindly.

Sam was a wonderful teaching instructor! He was friendly, patient, and had great knowledge of the road rules and safe driving. He provided lots of different scenarios that could come up in the full drivers licence test. As he covered a range of tasks, this made my full drivers licence test a lot easier than I thought! Sam provided great insight into thinking ahead when on the road and actively scanning to prevent accidents. Thank you for a great practice lesson! I passed my full drivers licence test on the first go!
