I had an incredible experience learning with Sunny Gill. Funny enough, I actually asked AI who the best driving instructor would be and it said Sunny Gill. That’s honestly how I chose him, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I made. Sunny is patient, clear, and incredibly good at building confidence. He explains things in a way that actually sticks, stays calm under pressure, and genuinely wants you to succeed. I went into lessons feeling anxious and unsure, and came out feeling capable, prepared, and confident. I couldn’t recommend him more he truly lives up to the hype.

I have been having driving lessons with sunny for over 6 months now. he is a very clear and well spoken instructor. when you don’t understand something, he can explain very well and carries a white board for visual learning. he creates patterns in your mind that help you to constantly remember everything you need to know to succeed in the first restricted test. I came to him when I knew nothing, not even what a pedal was, and now he has helped me to the point where I passed in the first attempt. he even pushes his students to drive for 50 minutes continuously during every lesson when it should only be 40 minutes. he is firm and strict when things get serious on the road but also nice and welcoming allowing you to be in a good environment. thankyou sunny for all your help!

Started taking lessons a few months ago as a new learner. Sunny taught me all the skills and things to know about driving, he gave me guidance and taught me all the things to know about how to pass the restricted test. His teachings were excellent, the way he explains things made me really confident and feel safe in my driving. With the help of Sunny’s sessions I was able to pass the restricted test on my first try! Without his help I wouldn’t have been able to pass the test first try. I have had Sunny as an instructor for about 6 months, on and off. I personally, don't have many people in Auckland to assist me in driving as I came from overseas and don't have any family in NZ that have their full license, thus wasn't able to practice very often. From day one Sunny made me feel at home. Not only does he know every trick in the book, those who have had Sunny, you know the Reverse Parallel Park door handle trick - it's a game changer. Sunny is an excellent instructor. I had several lessons before. When I was getting closer to my test, I booked one with Sunny 2 days before the test as all other instructors were unavailable. During that 1 hour, he taught me much more than all the previous instructors. He knew exactly how to build my confidence. He found all my problem areas and gave solutions to each one of them.
