Hi, my name is Ayaaz

I originally come from Fiji so I was brought up to be friendly and always smiling. I used to be a science and mathematics teacher before migrating to NZ.

I became a driving instructor after a friend suggested that I had the qualities needed to be a good instructor. I now have 8 years’ experience and I’ve seen hundreds of students succeed to gain their licenses through my teachings.

I wanted to join the AA as the brand is well respected and because I want to give students the best chance to pass their tests first time and become a safe and defensive driver.

I pride myself as being friendly and approachable; building rapport has never been an issue.

I’m reliable, trust-worthy, and patient. I like to make driving fun, enjoyable and safe for all road users. I measure my success with the results and satisfaction of my students.

I had a couple of lessons with Ayaaz before sitting my restricted test and those lessons were very helpful in building the essential skills that I needed for passing the test. Ayaaz is very accommodating to his students' and does his best to make sure they are able to pass their practical driving test. I had a practice restricted test with him which was quite an accurate representation of the actual test and what the tester would be looking out for. Additionally, he is friendly and patient with students, which was integral in building my confidence before the practical test. I would highly recommend Ayaaz to anyone that wants to improve their driving skills, build confidence in their driving and/or pass the practical driving tests.
