Hi, my name is David.
Before becoming a driving instructor, I had worked as an international business manager in the technology industry for over 20 years. It involved communicating with people from different backgrounds, analyzing needs, training and guiding people to overcome challenges. It’s these skills, together with knowledge and passion for driving that I bring to my career as a driving instructor.
My students say my personality is friendly and calm; I give clear and concise feedback and I’m patient and encouraging.
As well as a NZ driver license, I have licenses which I obtained from overseas where people drive on the opposite side of the road. I have a deep understanding of the various challenges that both locals and new immigrants are facing.
It has always been a great joy helping students to achieve their goals. Coaching is fulfilling and gives me a great sense of achievement when I receive messages telling me they passed their test and are thankful for the help I provided.
