Hi, my name is Garry.
I find my career as a Driving Instructor rewarding as every day is different and enjoyable. I love that I can produce tangible results that I know I have helped implement.
I grew up in Hawke's Bay and inherited a passion for sports from my parents. I have been a golfer and have managed to finish a number of Ironman triathlons. Both pursuits have taught me the value of having a focused practice. For most of my previous life, I have been in the IT industry.
I enjoy enabling students to overcome their doubts and fears to become safe and competent drivers and I feel this is a daily privilege. I like to see my student's confidence build and helping them achieve their goals – I consider this to be a perk of the job.
