Hi, my name is Michelle.
I was born in Christchurch and moved to Auckland 35 years ago. Prior to working for the AA, I was an office administrator for quite a few years but felt it was time for a career change.

I enjoy working with and helping people build their confidence and achieve their goals. I taught my two children and enjoyed the process which is what prompted me to turn it into my career.

I like to make my students feel at ease behind the wheel by encouraging them to come out of their comfort zone and have a bit of fun while learning too. I create a calm and supportive learning environment to make my students feel confident to go for their test.

I’m looking forward to assisting you in your learn to drive journey.

Yesterday I passed my restricted driving test after two previous attempts and years of procrastination and not feeling ready, the reason I passed and felt confident going into the test and throughout it is all thanks to Michelle. She is an incredible driving instructor; I have done other lessons with three other driving instructors in the past and she is the only one who I feel was truly invested in my success. I chose Michelle as my instructor because she was the only one smiling in her profile photo, she looked kind and encouraging which I released after my first lesson was completely true. She works hard to ensure all of the bases are covered, the rate at which she taught me new things made me feel on top of it and not like I was out of my depth.
